Sm2 provides you with creative solutions to deliver broadcast signals, “globally,” through a seamless network. By teaming up with top satellite providers and teleports around the world, Sm2 is able to deliver the best quality SD and HD signals, while providing clients with extremely competitive prices. Our connectivity is global in SD and HD.

North America

In North America, we specialize in HD delivery. We offer HD uplink and downlink on Ku-band plus circular or linear C-band downlinks on satellites located from 8° West to 135°West. Current connectivity, via our satellite and fiber networks, allows us to deliver signals from North America to South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
As of May, 2010, we have delivered over 5000 hrs of HD programming converted from 1080i 60 1080i50 and 1000 hrs of 1080i/50 H264.

Rest of the world

For transmissions to Asia our major partner is RR Sat. Based in Israel, RR Sat is able to receive signals from Europe, the Americas and Asia and transmit to same locations.

Satellites:

Since August 1, 2009 Sm2 Sports owns an 18 Mhz lease on NSS7 (NSS 7 ENV8/EUH8) that is contracted out on an OU basis. OU Rates are available for 4.5 MHz, 9.0 MHz and 18 MHz slots. Space is North America to Europe and Europe to Europe.

Additionally, Sm2 Sports offers competitive rates on US Domsat Satellites (AMC Fleet), Asia Sat 5 and other global satellites.
